#1 Sunset Eye Makeup
The first suggestion in our list is inspired by the warm and romantic summer sunsets which are in orange and yellow. That is why the colors you are going to need for this eye makeup look are yellow, orange, and a little black to make the contrast.
First you need to prime your eyes. This step is very important especially in the summer when your skin can get really oily and your makeup to be ruined. Then, once you have prepared the base for the makeup, you can move on to the actual part of makeup application.
Get the yellow eyeshadow and apply it in the center of your upper eyelid. This will be the sun of this eye makeup which means that you need to apply the color as a circle.
Then using a fluffy brush apply some of the orange color around the yellow circle. One thing you need to be careful about is not to go over the crease and stay on the eyelid only. The fluffy brush will help you blend the yellow and the orange color nicely.
Then you need to use the black color to create a frame around the orange-yellow circle in the center of the eyelid. Make sure you cover the rest of the upper eyelid and reach the crease.
You also need to use a fluffy brush in order to blend the colors. You also need to make sure you do not go too much over the crease. Keep blending in a half-circular shape.
After that you need to add some finishing touched to the eye makeup. Apply some black eyeshadow on your bottom lash line and smudge it a little bit. This will work as a bottom makeup frame to the whole eye makeup.
The next thing you need to make the eye makeup complete is to apply eyeliner. Stick to the traditional cat eye without making it too thick.
Lastly, you need to apply some mascara on your lashes to make your eye makeup complete. If you like, you can also add some falsies to make your lashes look thicker and longer. And then you are done!
#2 Pocahontas Makeup
The next makeup in our summer list is named after a famous Native American – Pocahontas. This has to do with two of the colors she is known for – her beige/brown dress and her blue necklace. And since the two colors create a fresh combination together, they fit in our idea of fresh summer makeup. So, here is how you can create it yourselves.
You again need to start with priming your eyes. You need to make sure the canvas for your masterpiece is perfect in order not to ruin the rest of the makeup. Apply the base all over your eyelids including above the crease and on the bottom eyelid.
Then you need to get the blue eyeshadow, which should be a light blue hue, like a sky blue color. Using a slightly angled brush, you need to apply the blue eyeshadow on the inner corner of your eyes.
Cover about a third of the upper eyelash without going over the crease. You also need to apply the color on your bottom lash line a little creating a frame around the inner corner of your eyes.
Then you need to get a light beige color and apply it on the rest of your upper eyelid using a blending brush. You can go just slightly over the crease, but not too much. And also make sure you blend the place where the two colors, the blue and the beige, meet.
Using an angled brush, apply some of the beige color on the bottom lash line up to the point where you applied the blue color and smudge it a little bit.
Then apply some white popping color on your brow bones to make this part of your face shine and in order for the eye makeup to stand out even more.
Then you need to get a blue eyeliner and apply it on the upper lash line of your eyes. Make sure it is a thin line that may go to your brow at the end.
Then using black eye pencil, apply some on the whole bottom lash lines.
Finish by applying mascara on your upper and lower lashes, or add some falsies if you like. And then you are ready!
